Hannah Montana Tickets for Austin Show on Sale Saturday

ATLANTA -- Tickets to the Hannah Montana concert at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin will go on sale Saturday, December 15th. You can pick up a wristband from a Texas Box Office outlet starting on Friday, December 14th.

Ticket sales for PPP's 'B.B. Wolf' start Monday

Tickets to the Peter Pan Players' upcoming show "Happy Birthday Mr. B.B. Wolf" will be on sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at the box office.

The show will run Jan. 3-13 with showtimes at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets cost $10 each for those age 12 or younger, $15 each for everyone else.

The season also will include the troupe's production of "Tom Sawyer, the Musical" in May and of "Cinderella" in August. Season ticket prices are $45 for adults and $30 for children.

Call the box office at (318) 869-5242 for reservations. Leave your name, the performance you wish to attend, how many tickets you need and a telephone number. Tickets must be paid for 24 hours prior to the performance you will be attending.

Jefferson troupe holding auditions today, Sunday

Jefferson's Opera House Theater Players will hold auditions for its upcoming production "The Man Who Came to Dinner" at 2 p.m. today and Sunday at 112 Vale St. in downtown Jefferson, Texas.

Roles are available for men and women of varying ages, as well as several young men. No experience is necessary to act in the play. And membership in a thespian group is not required.

Rehearsals will begin in early January. The show will be presented in mid-February.

Tickets to 'Piano Men' will go on sale Monday

Tickets go on sale Monday for "The Piano Men ... Starring Jim Witter" presented by the Angelina Arts Alliance in east Texas.

The show is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Jan. 19 on the Temple Theater stage at Angelina College, 3500 S. 1st Street in Lufkin, Texas.

"The Piano Men" is a musical celebration of the 1970s hits by Billy Joel and Elton John.

Ticket prices are $18 to $25 at the Temple Theater box office. Box office hours are noon to 5:30 p.m. weekdays.

All unsold tickets will go on sale for half price, on a standby basis, starting 30 minutes prior to curtain.

KUSA – One of the most popular toys of the holiday season just sits there.

Elf on the Shelf is an elf that sits on a shelf, or, in this case, a wreath. Room Service Home sold 5,000 elves on a shelf.

"I named him Chris for Christmas," 10-year-old Emma Watson said.

Emma says when she wakes up in the morning, Chris has moved, after flying back to the North Pole to give a report to Santa.

"It's most exciting in the morning because you're like, 'Where's my elf? I can't find my elf!'" Emma said.

Emma says a book that comes with the elf spells out rules.

"If a child touches him, he'll lose all of his magic, and he'll never move or do anything again," she said.
